The sun continues to shine, but with the spring tide
it's been another quiet days fishing.
Willie is continuing to land mackerel in abundance and it is still as fresh and delicious as ever. If you are running our of ideas with what to do with it, there are some great suggestions on the channel 4 website. Something new and interesting this week, we are offering tranches of Dover Sole (the fish equivalent to the t-bone steak). This piece also comes on the bone and is the perfect portion for 1. Bake it simply in the oven for best results. All in all we have: Fillets & Parts Cornish Haddock Fillet (300g) @ £15/kg Dover Sole Tranche (250g) @ £27.96/kg Pouting Fillets (500g) @ £13/kg Cornish Mackerel Fillets (300g) @ £13/kg Whiting Fillets (300g) @ £12/kg Whole Fish Whole Cornish Mackerel (500g) @ £8/kg And of course we have crab - dressed (499p), white (499p) & brown (299p). Start shopping here We are very proud of our fish. Working with a small family run co-operative based on the South Cornish coast, our fish is caught using environmentally friendly static nets that don't disturb the sea bed. It will be iced in boxes before being couriered over night to our depot - you really can't get fresher than that! Don't forget you you can still place your Farm Direct order for delivery tomorrow.
