The Suffolk countryside boasts fantastic wild game, all low in fat, low in food miles and completely free range. This week we are able to offer you the best seasonal game that Suffolk has to offer. Try our hare, it's strong, rich and gamey and we have both haunch and saddle portions available (best stewed or roasted). I you want a more gentle introduction into the world of wild meats, pigeon and partridge breasts are both subtle and tender, or for something a bit different, go for squirrel - it is moist and sweet as its diet consists of nuts and berries.
